Este seminario se hará tipo Summit con el propósito de crear una red de toda Latinoamérica, en temas de economía circular y manejo de residuos principalmente plásticos, el evento será por invitación a expertos en la materia que puedan representar diferentes paises y organizaciones.
This event will convene world-renowned experts and stakeholders on plastics from academia, government, nonprofit, and industry. You will collaborate with approximat4ely 30 other people to begin a multi-year process to draft a circular economy plan for plastics in LATAM. This summit aims to 1) identify leaders amongst participants who will advise and guide the team on different programmatic efforts 2) identify needs for the next generation workforce, 3) identify knowledge gaps and research needs, and 4) collaborate on proposals for funding of promising projects and endeavors. Ultimately, this program aims to create a network of researchers and stakeholders committed to tackling pressing plastic problems and innovations, publish a plastics network strategic plan and research roadmap that at its core ensures sustainability and supports a circular economy. This network and strategic plan will focus on tackling the most pressing plastic problems now, while supporting planning and prioritization for a sustainable plastic future.
